When she’s not writing, you can probably find her in her greenhouse or at the thrift store. She lives in Seattle with her husband, Matt, and their two toddlers, Rowan and Juniper.

    I live near Seattle with my two young children and husband. We spend our free time roaming parks, riding our bikes, and traveling to and from activities like soccer and ballet. We are at the library about once a week picking out new books and returning ones dangerously near their due dates. I am often drinking coffee or water while stories of love, heartbreak, and epic fantasy dance around in my head mostly unprovoked.

    Hypatia Rhodes is a dark romantasy author that caters to those dark parts of ourselves that we tuck away during the day. She is a PNW native that is heavily involved in the local bookish community through her work as the president and founder of the @portlandromancewriters , and she works with fellow author @shclasen in their Sucker for Books podcast.

    Meet Jessica Salina, an award-nominated romance author from Washington. A lifelong reader turned storyteller, she’s passionate about mental health and disability representation, drawing from her experiences with fibromyalgia and CPTSD. When she’s not writing, she’s hiking, chasing waterfalls, or cosplaying alongside her husband.
