  • Lore and Luster unfolds in the heart of Tacoma, WA—just minutes from the waterfront and surrounded by charming shops, cafés, and hotels. Our venue offers the perfect blend of modern elegance and storybook atmosphere, setting the stage for a truly immersive romantasy experience. The ball will be held at The Press Room

  • Lore and Luster comes to Tacoma April 18–19, 2026! Enjoy two full days of vendor shopping, author signings, and immersive panels—all leading up to our crown jewel event: the Romantasy Gala, held the evening of Sunday, April 19. Join us for a weekend where fantasy becomes reality.

    You must purchase both Con tickets and a ball ticket to be at both activations. Your ball ticket does not grant entry into the Con. Bundled Tickets are available for a discounted rate.

  • Lose yourself in an unforgettable night of enchantment. Dance beneath twinkling lights to live music, pose at immersive photo ops and themed backdrops, and capture the magic in our fantasy photo booth. Mingle with character actors from your favorite romantasy worlds, sip on themed cocktails and mocktails, and enjoy sweet & savory bites fit for a royal court. Whether you come to dance, feast, or fall into a story—this is your night to live the fantasy.

  • Please note that lodging is not included in your ticket price and will be the responsibility of each attendee. However, we’re working on reserving a hotel block nearby so you can stay close to fellow romantasy lovers and make the most of your magical weekend. Details will be shared as soon as they're confirmed—stay tuned!

  • You must be 18 or over to attend. All IDs will be checked at the door and refunds will not be issued due at the time of the event.

  • The romantasy ball is a catered event. Upon purchasing your ticket, please indicate any allergies in the proper fields. Please do not put in a food you don’t like, as there will be many food options and we are using this field to ensure the safety of all guests.

  • Now is the time to shine! Don your finest gown or suit and truly make a night to remember.
