How a bookstore became an architect
What began as a bold idea for a romance-centered bookstore in Tacoma has evolved into something much bigger: a fully immersive fantasy & romance experience. Lore & Luster, produced by Shelf Indulgence, is more than an event, it’s a carefully crafted world.
From author and vendor coordination to atmospheric set design, spoiler-safe programming, and thoughtful reader experiences, Shelf Indulgence designs every touchpoint with intention. The result is a convention that doesn’t just celebrate books. We aim to bring them to life, creating a space where readers can step inside the magic of their favorite stories.
